What are the fees?


There are no fees for consumers. There is a $20.00 registration fee for nurses and nursing assistants. There is a $25.00 placement fee when a nurse or nursing assistant obtains a case with the assistence of this website.  

 



Can a consumer change their mind about a nurse/assistant?
The consumer is still in the same position as before, they can change their mind at anytime during the interviewing process.

Is there any contract to sign?
No, there is no contract and fees are paid using the honor system. We are here to get consumers covered and find nurses/assistants cases.

How is confidentiality maintained?
Consumers are never identified. Nurses and nursing assistants are only identified after they agree to allow Net Nurses to identify them to the consumer. The first contact of the nurse and consumer MUST be initiated by the consumer.

Who is the target population of this site?
The target population are those consumers who predominantly are Medicaid eligible on a Waiver program. The nurses/assistants are Independent Providers qualified by the State of Ohio.

What geographical area is covered by the website?
Basically the Greater Cleveland Metro Area, however, we will try to assist consumers and nurses in any area in the state of Ohio. 

How long has this site been in operation?
It is a new site that was developed and established in December of 2001.

Who maintains the site?
The site was developed by me because I am a consumer and I use Independent Provider nurses. I know the difficulty and frustrations of trying to locate a nurse.

How often can I revise and update my profile or requirements?


As often as you like. In fact, it is most beneficial to revise and update your information as often as required to keep it all current.

Do I have to use a nurse who was referred by Net Nurses?
NO, Net Nurses is just another resource that consumers can utilize to locate a nurse or nursing assistant. The consumer and nurse determine what they will do after the interview process.

Can I join the database even though I don't have access to a computer or internet?

What criteria is used to match consumers and nurses?
1. By the days the consumer needs covered. 2. By the hours needed to be covered. 3. By location of the case. 4. By a pediatric or adult case.

Do we screen nurses and nursing assistants?
Absolutely not. The consumer screens whichever way they decide, this is what the interview process is for.

Are there any restrictions or limitations?
Those restrictions and limitations as applied by the State of Ohio.

Must I have an IP number to work on a waiver case?
Yes you do. You must have an IP number to bill medicaid for your services.

What is the best time to contact Net Nurses via phone?
The best time would be 9:00 AM thru 7:00 PM
